SUMMER SEASON APPROACHES
With the band in it’s final approach and rehearsals for the Area Contest on the 17th March, I think it goes without saying that everyone is looking forward to a change in the bandroom and looking forward to rehearsing and planning for the forthcoming season of concerts. The band’s first outing following the contest will be at All Saints Church in Graveney, near Faversham which is a new venue for us. The concert is on Saturday 27th April and it’d be great to see everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!….AND HERE’S TO A SUCCESSFUL AND ENJOYABLE 2019
Better late than never but a very happy New Year to everyone as the band has now settled into rehearsals once more after the very busy Christmas period. With a mixture of carolling and organised concerts, the band had one of their busiest Christmas periods for a long time and finally finished with carolling at Tesco’s, Whitfield on Christmas Eve. The band is now preparing for the Area Qualifying Contest to be held at Stevenage on Sunday, 17th March 2019 – who know’s what will happen…haha!! Engagements for later in the year are gradually coming in and will be updated on the website and Facebook as they are confirmed. We look forward to your support and seeing you throughout the year!

Mr Sid Howells
It is with great sadness that I have been informed of the passing of Sid. Sid was Conductor, Teacher and a brilliant Euphonium player with the band for many, many years. Our condolences to his family and friends. A great friend.
